The name Rukkilille Translations Bureau was mainly inspired by the fact that Elina, the founder of the company, grew up in an apartment building located close to the Rukkilille bus stop in a district called Õismäe (‘Blossom Hill’ in Estonian) in Tallinn, Estonia.
Rukkilill (the Estonian word for cornflower) is, of course, also the beloved national flower of Estonia. For our company, it symbolises love for the place that you call home, dignity and reliable quality combined with simplicity, as well as caring about our natural environment and striving towards a small ecological footprint.
Elina Tamm, the founder of the company, wrote the all-Estonian e-dictation without any mistakes in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
